what we do: Research

what's new

Theatre historian Tamara Underliner described the work of the archive and featured one of our photos on the cover and in the body of her new book, Contemporary Theatre in Mayan Mexico.

Research: in addition to use by indigenous photographers, the collection is available to outside researchers to consult and request use of images for academic ends – books, theses, articles, videos etc.

The following are examples of the many publications that have incorporated the work of one or more of the photographers and/or may include commentaries, interviews, or other texts related to the Chiapas Photography Project.
